Hi, I’m Ashley Smith!
I am a lifelong lover of sports who is always looking for ways to combine my passion of sports with my love of the law. Enter NIL. AGSports is my attempt to give athletes more power and money in the world of NIL.
More than anything I aim to help athletes and their families advocate for themselves. Athletes and their families should not have to rely on agents, managers, or lawyers to find success with NIL.
What makes me qualified to do this work? I have built a career helping companies, and the people who work there, successfully navigate newly regulated spaces. From a top tier global law firm to tech companies Facebook and Lime, I have aided in interpreting national, state and local laws and teaching companies how to comply with laws and find success. As a leader, I have led teams developing global training providing complex material in an easy-to-understand and approachable manner.
I am excited by the opportunity to meet and help as many athletes as possible to become educated and empowered to ultimately excel in the NIL world. Because when it comes to NIL, it’s not about how good you are, it’s about what you can negotiate!
My Approach
AGSports seeks to help you confidently direct your path down the NIL road. I provide the knowledge and techniques needed to understand and comply with NIL rules AND score the best deals for yourself. And if you do decide to engage a lawyer, agent, etc. you will know what you are looking for and what you need.
Understand it
Information is broken down into short approachable sessions allowing you to really learn and apply critical information when you need to. Live sessions allow you to ask questions and make sure you understand everything being taught.
Apply it
Information is taught in a way that you can easily apply it when identifying an NIL opportunity, negotiating a deal, or making sure you stay in compliance with school, conference, or state rules.
